No nonsense north-south hockey.

First time this season they've simplified their game like this with the kind of pace they need to be successful.

1. Good start - check
2. Creating plenty of chances - check
3. Bearing down and finishing on the chances - check

Hopefully they keep it up

Zary has been muscled around lately so I'm not unhappy to see him with Klapka and Lomberg

No apple for either one of them, but they were both instrumental in the goal

While they are 1-2, they don't play like the sort of doormats most pundits probably have pegged them as.

The 3rd period against Vancouver aside, they are making their opponents work for it.

Parekh has looked really shaky and jumpy with the puck so far. Thats okay though, he's not eligible for the AHL, so he's in the right place. He'll get more comfortable as the season goes on.

Best period of the season so far.

I really like Honzek on that line with Backlund and Coleman. He looks like a guy who is making a statement not to go back down.

Thought Zay and Weegar were really good too.

Hope they can keep it up.

Honzek is a guy I'd be happy to be wrong about. Has excellent tools, just needs to put it together.

Honzo seems like a good fit with Backlund/Coleman duo
