The BJs are going wild in Minnesota as they lead 7-4 even though they are losingout shot 53-34. Both Kirills each have a pair of goals for the Wild.

Elliot slobbering all over himself making the case for Bouchard to be on team Canada. Only Bieksa opposing his immediate coronation.
May not watch ice hockey in the Olympics.

Not sure we could have matched Mailloux's value, but man would it have been nice to score Zach Bolduc this summer.

The Kraken are terrible. There's just zero offensive power on that team.

Did anyone else catch Ron MacLean expressing disbelief that Kirill Kaprizov continues to wear 97 as 97 is “McDavid’s number”, even calling Kaprizov’s choice “audacious”? What a ####ing clown. How is this idiot still on TV?

Normally don’t watch intermission but a guest at someone else’s house so caught it tonight. Unfortunately.

One of the many SN nightly talking points aimed at sucking up to the Oilers fan base.

The Isles played Schaefer an incredible 26:04 in their 4-2 loss to the Caps. The next highest ice-time for their blueline was Mayfield, with 18:48. Schaefer finished with a goal, 8 shots, and was the only Isles D-man who had an even plus/minus. 2gp/1g/1a/2pts,+1, 0 PIM.

The other thing that was bad and sucking up was that the Blues-Flames game should have been at the same time as the Canucks-Oilers as there was no need for it to be the solo 8:00 game.

D Pavel Mintyukov played 15:42 in the season opener against Seattle, but only received 11:49 vs. San Jose. D Olen Zellweger played over 19 minutes in both contests.

Beckett Sennecke played over 19 minutes, picked up a goal and an assist, and is now at 3 points in 2 games for the Ducks.

So Edmonton is rolling out the McDavid and Drai lines at nearly 25 mins back to back. Itb the only hope, but after two years of playing the most hockey as anyone without winning have to feel that fatigue bill is going to come due hard. Especially in an Olympic year for McDavid
