Age 32/33 year seasons will be a point where things aren't quite like they were. McDavid is a moron if he actually committed to that sideshow for longer than 3 years. Not only will they remain in cap hell, they'll also be dealing with overpaid superstars that can't hit the levels they could in their 20s.

Their defense is overpaid, but it's not bad. Bouchard, Ekholm, Nurse, Walman is a respectable top 4. Overpaid by a mile, but talent is fine.
