I have a feeling we are going to start losing a few players on waivers. Especially dmen.

I'd wager Parekh will get his #19
Then all us Chucky jersey enjoyers can get a new namebar rather than a whole new setup!

Kadri tends to hog the puck a bit and prefers to be a shooter rather than setup plays so that might not complement a goal scorer like Coronato.
My preference would be something like this:
Huberdeau-Kadri-Posposil/Klapka
Zary-Frost-Coronato
Sharangovich-Backlund-Coleman
Farabee-Kirkland-Posposil/Klapka
I would rather Zary be getting a long look at center but I don’t think that’s going to happen. Would also like to see a vet traded because it feels like there is just not enough spots available. Hard for Farabee to have a bounce back year playing on the 4th line. Same thing with Posposil and it’s tough to see if Klapka can develop into an impact complementary middle six forward on the 4th line.
|
What were their stats last year when they played together? I remember Coronato seeing time with the Kadri and Huberdeau a few times at least.

I would love to get Chucky's name off this jersey I have, so I hope he takes it.

It always seems odd regarding who gets claimed, as we really don't know what other teams' needs are, or who they liked from a scouting angle.
Sometimes it's players we really didn't expect.... Cole Schwindt for instance.
Sam Morton isn't that far removed from being an actively pursued College Free Agent, for instance.

Draft Pick
|
Based on today, this seems to be the starting-point for the line-up:
Huberdeau-Kadri-Coronato
Zary-Backlund-Coleman
Farabee-Frost-Sharangovich
Lomberg-Pospisil-Klapka
Hanley-Weegar
Bahl-Andersson
Bean-Parekh
Kuznetsov-Pachal
Things could change, but this is fairly consistent with how Huska operates and the pieces we have.
I'd assume Bean/Kuznetsov/Solovyov are competing for 3LD and 4LD and there's a 4th line time-share C spot available (Pospisil would slide to wing).

Does Parekh use a longer than usual stick for his height or has it been so long since I've seen hockey that I don't remember anything anymore

He appeared to read plays very well, enabling him to get in position early.
