That is definitely a ‘tell’ for AI (or lazy human reporting, which makes up a lot of any AI's training text). It seems LLMs would rather be wordy, and write things in straight narrative format, than save words and improve clarity by making lists.
I noticed a long time ago that short game write-ups in almost any major sport are longer and less informative than the bare scoresheet. But editors seem to think the write-ups are better journalism.
