I think the most fun I experienced watching the two of them, outside of being at game 7 when Johnny won it was the year of Johnny - Monahan - Hudler they just had so much chemistry and looked like they had fun all the time.

Then of course the dominant season under Sutter with Lindholm when they put up record numbers.

Wow. That one hits right in the feels.

Congrats to Sean. Always been a class act. Proud he played for us.

Meredith Gaudreau is a damn rock. Every time I've watched her since the tragedy I come away with the utmost admiration for how she carries herself in the wake of what happened.

That is so beautiful, such incredible, strong and loving people. Every time they get a chance to smile, it warms my heart. I cried, I’m crying for people I’ve never met, yet love so much.

Had to log in to say I miss Sean, greatly. I’ll continue to hope he finds his way back to the Flames one day. <3

Probably because as tragic as this was, Masterton remains the only NHL player to have ever died because of injuries suffered during a game.

The Lady Byng would be better since it's the one award he won in his career, and Masterton has his own tragic story that deserves to be remembered.

I'd be perfectly fine with Monahan returning to Calgary at some point and helping the Flames win a Cup.
