I always liked his posting on here. Definitely an interesting person. I like people who think differently than most, so his style was very welcome.
It is sad that he has passed. I am sorry for all those who were close to him.

He was an awesome guy, I met him through here but then it turned out he was also a good friend of another one of my friends. Glad to see it has been shared on here that he is no longer with us.
Drove by his place a few weeks ago and the van was outside, made me sad.

Damn, perhaps the most legendary quote of all-time on this site. Had no idea FG came up with that until just now. At least a few times a week I use it in my day-to-day life when a situation arises. Most hilarious CP suspension of all-time too.
I'll certainly miss the guy. I absolutely loved his sense of humor around here and felt like I "got him" everytime he posted. Bought a monitor off of him years ago while the Oilers were in their decade of darkness and I recall having a laugh with him at his front door about it. Always sad to see one of us go. May he RIP and condolences to his friends and loved ones.

He was a character. He had a boozy stage. I can’t remember exactly but I think was like “I put a 26 of booze in my feeding tube, let’s see what happens”. Then “well I ended up in the hospital”.
He was like Calgarypucks cripple Steve-O.
Then he got chased out of here for some silly car paint thing that was completely voluntary to donate to .

That news sucks balls.
I seem to remember something about him and a break in and home video of it? And he had a german shepard at one time who was beautiful. Am I remembering the right person?
RIP.

####! RIP Gimp, and condolences to all of his friends and family! I had so many conversations with him, I loved his sense of humor and unique way of looking at things. I always wished for him to have respite, to have the ability to heal.
Damn.

Never met him but I remember his avatar was a stick figure taking his wheelchair and smashing someone to death with it. That was my first clue he wasn’t your typical dude.
RIP FG.

Dang, thats sad to find out. I will somehow credit him for my choice to avoid buying a hot tub for my yard. I dont recall the fine details but do recall his struggle and annoyances with the whole process.
Definitely seemed like a unique character. He will be missed here.

I remember one time years ago, prior to a playoff game, he mentioned that he had cut his hair into a mohawk and dyed it red. At the game, I saw a guy in a wheelchair with a red mohawk and thought about saying hi, but I figured walking up to a stranger in a wheelchair and asking, "Hey are you Flames Gimp?" might not be the smartest idea.
RIP

You should have farted in his face. He would have liked it. Haha.
When I met him figured he was just like paraplegic wheelchair dude but he was pretty severely handicapped, like Stephen hawking type stuff. Just the logistics getting to a flames game seems exhausting to me. I would have given up way before he ever allowed the eventual came.
I just find it fascinating there is a brilliant brain in a body the dickhead above dealt him with.

Here’s his van thread, for those who want to relive and raise a glass to F_G while you read it. I certainly will.
