I really hope it's Honzek.
He's been underwhelming thus far and is looking like a bust

Assuming diamond in the rough = not picked in the first three rounds, I'd go with Lucas Ciona. He has the potential to fit the Hathaway/Lomberg role one day.

How about that 'Woooh Guy' from Spence Diamonds? Can we draft him?

I agree 100%.
He didn't have a horrible year, just was inconsistent when the call-up opportunities arose. Pretty big message sent to him not getting the call-up at the end of the year, and it sounds like he accepted and took responsibility.
If he carries that into the offseason and into camp, he's got the size and tools to still become a pretty special winger.

Eric Jamieson. 6th round pick. Calgary kid. Good size. Solid counting stats progression. Potentially a bit buried by Landon Dupont. NCAA bound next year.
Likely won't be the next as there are prospects ahead of him age/development wise that could pop first, but he's one to follow.

For a diamond in the rough, I would suggest Hurtig

Arsenii Sergeev had a 3 month stretch when he was the best goalie in college hockey. He has great tools. He needs reps and pro coaching, but there is a lot to work with

Yeah if he can find consistency in his effort and compete levels then he has the tools.
Very skilled and good size. And there are times where he plays with more grit and snarl than you'd expect, but that's the part of this game he doesn't bring consistently or nearly enough.
But if he can find that consistently then he's going to be a good player.

I don't think those guys made or are making a big impact (big and impact being subjective terms) on the team...
If you're saying some guy that a lot of people think will be a career AHL'er but manages to eek out a respectable NHL career then probably Grush.
If you're saying some mostly unheralded guy that that's going to come in a be a low-key top half of the line-up "star" player then Suniev or Battaglia.

The 4th line C is right there for the taking for him or Morton, so it wouldn't be entirely unexpected.
