And I would want to keep the scheduled time to finish it so we guarantee we get it done before the nhl draft. Thats important otherwise teams picking after he nhl draft have a huge advantage

Would it be the proposed hybrid approach v keep it the way it is?

I suggest the hybrid or the original way. The hybrid, if passed, would be a good test subject for future years, and if it doesn't work out, then the Saturday would see everything finish anyway.
