Haha years later the “white-out” remains a laughable attempt to duplicate the awesomeness that is the playoff C of Red.
I feel we've had this discussion here before. The "white-out" started in 1987. When did the C of Red begin? I could easily be wrong, but I thought the whole wearing of the team's jersey by Calgary fans started in the late '90s.

Winnipeg did it as a direct answer to Calgary's c of red in 87. Then as far as I could tell the Flames fans didn't do it again until 04. Where as the White Out is basically inseparable from the Jets identity.
