They are 8 points up on that mark. It’s never happening. They could lose all 8 and they’ll still probably finish out the top ten.

You’re better off cheering for wins to get either get in or get the last available spot that isn’t a playoff team. That will help soften the blow of losing the pick.

Losing a 16th overall pick feels better than losing the 11th or 12th.

The only way they're getting a top 10 pick is if they win the lottery and the chances of them doing that are pretty slim.

It's easy to say "Oh, they're only 8 points out" but you're hoping the teams below them go on heaters and the chances of that happening is pretty slim too.

As much as missing the playoffs would suck it's not the worst case scenerio that some are trying to make it out to be. Finishing 11th or 12th is.
