So will Minnesota and CGY plays them as well.

It’s not over.
If this was midseason, sure. I just don't see them dropping the ball at this point with everything on the line. Plus a easy schedule remaining.

You think they’re gonna win 7 more to end the season on a 16 game winning streak?

I don’t care who their opponents are, that feels unlikely.

Flames can also track down the Wild. They’re losing right now and haven’t looked great lately.

The games in hand absolutely mean something at this point in season.

Ffs, are the Blues ever going to lose?

Maybe we need to catch the stupid Oilers instead. Tonight is that much more important, lol

The Flames aren't going to win every game either.

I didn't think other teams could be as embarassing as the Flames on odd man rushes but that NJD 3 on 1 proved me wrong...

It’s not that crazy. The Oilers won 16 in a row last year to turn their season around.

The Preds went unbeaten in 20 games to make the playoffs.

Stupid Blues. Even if they went in an unlikely 7-2 streak they would still be there for the taking. Wouldn’t be surprised is they do go 16-0 to end the season.

Do the Leafs always get early games out west? I can understand how Sportsnet can force the western Canadian teams to play earlier but how do they have any control over the LA Kings?

Hope we win tonight and lose the remaining 9. I think the odds are almost insurmountable at this point

St Louis is not going away.

Flames are going to have to run the table.

Ugh, and the Flames now need to rely on Markstrom not losing this game against Minnesota despite the Devils having the lead

Of course not but it’s not gonna take that either.

It will take a big run obviously but it’s not over. If they lose tonight and Monday, then I’m with you.

The flames are cooked unfortunately.

Statistically they have a pretty small chance of making it in.

Yeah our playoffs hopes are pretty much dead. We just need to make sure the pick is bad as possible for Montreal.

Wow, too bad were getting a fork stuck in our season while playing well and winning games. I'd say that's pretty much it, barring a miracle win streak.

Such defeatism in here.

Flames still hold their destiny in their hands. And I know running the table is highly unlikely. But 9-2 or 8–2-1 still gets them to 96-97 points and could absolutely happen.

I have to believe that will be enough.

If Minny loses this game, it’s absolutely not even close to being over.

Actually they don't; Blues hold the tiebreaker.

I mean sure there's a mathematical chance if we go on an absolute heater and a current playoff team starts playing under .500 or whatever. But we're just saying the chances of things going the way we need to make the playoffs is damn slim. Like really, really slim.

Okay fine. They don’t hold it by virtue of the tiebreaker.

But I’m not buying the thinking that STL is never gonna lose again either. Minny feels like the team who could be chased down anyways.
