Kadri shows up every game. He looks like the guy that hates to lose the most.

Those are guys you always want on your side.

Some of those are not necessarily in order, but all easily above Kadri.

I have a soft spot for Huselius.

I agree with Troutman, to me Kadri is a very frustrating player to watch.
There's a lot more to plus/minus for example the Flames have 3GF, 11GA with the net empty. That's probably a -8 right there. The Flames also have 6 SHGA, and are 3-9 in OT, and I think a case should be made against using Kadri in OT.

Kadri seems a lot better at 5 on 5 than his -18 suggests:
Huberdeau - Kadri - Pospisil +7, 274mins
Huberdeau - Kadri - Coronato -1, 125mins
Huberdeau - Kadri - Pelletier +2, 58mins
Huberdeau - Kadri - Farabee -2, 43 mins, Farabee shouldve had a couple more goals
---
Zary - Kadri - Pospisil -2, 51mins, I think they had a tough start but are a good line
Zary - Kadri - Sharangovich -1, 39mins
Zary - Kadri - Kuzmenko +2, 30mins
---
Kuzmenko - Kadri - Pospisil -4, 101mins
Kuzmenko - Kadri - Honzek +1, 34mins

IMO Kadri has yet to find chemistry with Coronato, Sharangovich or Farabee. He was saddled with Kuzmenko to start the year. Pospisil, Zary and Huberdeau seem like the best linemates for him.

Probably get a compliment 1 of the 5 nights. But I'm happy. If you know, you know.

Remember early on when it seemed like his contract was gonna be brutal and he looked like he was mailing it in? Good times

Flames have some interesting X factors if the sneak in a face the Jets with Kadri being one of them as a known playoff performer. Wolf obviously is key but Kadri can elevate to a top end first line center in the playoffs.

He's here for a long time, wants to be here, and is super clutch. It would be dumb not to make him Captain IMO.

Muslims around the world have been observing Ramadan over the last while which among other things, has observers eat only from sunrise to sunset. I know not all Muslims may participate in this even though they are Muslim, but imagine if Naz was also observing this WHILE having all these crazy clutch performances?!

Kadri has been a stud this year.

When it’s crunch time he wants the puck. That’s something you can’t teach.

It looks to me like he doesn’t fast during Ramadan anymore since he turned pro.

Kadri ends the season with 67 points and 35 goals. Busting his ass to the final whistle.

He is now 40th in franchise goals.

32nd in the Calgary iteration- in the last couple of days he's passed Tanguay, Beers, Patterson and Bourque- one behind Cammy now!

Great post! I’ll take stats/data versus cataract eye test any day.

We absolutely got the Kadri we paid for, and that GMBT was lusting after for so long, this season.

I have never pulled a complete 180 on a player like I have with Kadri. I loathed Naz before he was a Flame. I hated trading away Mony with a pick to be able to sign him (Still stings). I hated the huge contract we gave him (Still won't age well). His GAF meter was also low a lot during his 1st season with us.

... fast forward to now and he is one of the Flames I respect most. He truly wants to be here, is an incredible mentor for the young guns and is producing very well.

Hats off to him.

Will the official drink be Kadri Cola? Maybe somebody with photoshop skills can make the required changes?
