I like that you hate him so much that you set up a situation where the guaranteed outcome everybody already knew was happening would give you an excuse to call him stupid “if” it happened, as though it would be worse because it was unexpectedly stupid and as though you were giving him the benefit of the doubt and it would be his fault if you called him stupid, and then came around the next day to confirm that you were, in fact, calling him stupid.
