This is the thing, I like Lomberg but I'm not expecting a 75 point player or anything. I like him because I like his attitude and his jam and, for the most part he, at minimum, delivers what he promises and often exceeds that.

That looks pretty good. Could see that being the line up. Love the idea of Zary with Coronato. But I hope Zary keeps developing as a center. Something like:
Huberdeau-Kadri-Farabee
Klapka-Zary-Coronato
Posposil-Frost-Sharangovich
Lomberg-Backlund-Coleman
With this, there is not as much of a risk of any line matching up poorly. Teams are welcome to put their 1st line out against the “fourth line” of Backlund and Coleman. Backlund and a Coleman would still play significant minutes on the penalty kill and the bench would not need to be shortened in the 3rd period.

I like those lines. Huska should bump coronato. He’s learned a bit of thee backlund line , but his skill level has surpassed the other 2. Think that frost line could be money.

Of course. We're all allowed to have opinions and agree or disagree.
Sometimes I definitely do see what I want to see. Don't know if this is the case here (maybe, maybe not) but, anyway.

Man...with the amount these guys get shuffled around its hard to know who is at the bottom of the roster these days!
I liked Duehr but he tapered off...I miss Costco...

Ever!
If you're the bottom of the roster and you have some age, it's a double down!

Yeah the Flames have typically done a subpar job assembling their 4th lines and bottom pairs. If the shoe fits. It's not a coincidence that the ONE good 4th line this fanbase can remember is regularly brought up. Mangiapane-Ryan-Hathaway. It's like a holy grail to us.

Hopefully they do a better job of filling the net tonight, while building some chemistry with the new guys. Beat Seattle tonight, and it is another nail in their coffin and one less team to worry about (though it is doubtful they would catch up now anyway).
What this team needs is a really nice blowout win to give them a bit of confidence.
