After helping Kadri-Huberdeau get their mojo this season I’m glad Huska has lent Pospisil to Kuzmenko-Sharangovich for the same bump.

The team plays better than the sum of its parts. Hard not to enjoy.

Looks like my post disappeared in the move..
That was a bit too much of an exciting finish to the game, but they won it, and that's what counts.
I thought for sure that they were going to lose this one as soon as Bahl went down. Gutsy effort tonight. Good on Andersson for giving it to Fleury in that scrum - I don't like it when goalies get involved, but when they do, they are fair game.
Good teams find a way to win games. Yes, momentum was on Minnesota's side, but Flames still found a way to walk out with those 2 points, and that's what matters. A bad team would have found a way to lose this game, and they had plenty of excuses.

Weegar logged 26 minutes of ice time 2 assists and a +2. Should be on team Canada

Nice win. A few observations:
1. Agree a taller goalie likely would not have saved the first goal. Wolf was good all night. The late goals were not on him.
2. Good for Kuzy. Last Flames wrap around I remember was Johnny at home v PIT.
3. Lovely shot by Bishop. Had not heard of him before.
4. Terrible call on the Bahl hit. How’s that not 5?
5. And good on Pelts for negating the icing late but there was clear interference and of course no call.

Special teams remain poor, zone entries in particular on both ends.
Fun game, nice goal for Bishop

The parts are underrated.
Huberdeau, Kadri, Coleman, Backlund, Zary, Pelletier, and Coronato. That's a lot of .5ppg players.
The key lies in more production from Huberdeau and then depth like kuzmenko and sharangovich. It's a relatively slight difference that'll change everything for the team.

Well...yes. But also, remember that we were playing with a 5-man unit because the referees couldnt find their own ass with both hands and a map.

Don't look now but we are only 3 points behind Colorado and Los Angeles.

So.. do we add at the deadline?
Or will CC stay put.
Flames have the most flexibility of any playoff hopeful.

In my eyes? That is good coaching and a good team.
Every good team needs to be greater than the sum of it's parts. An environment where each individual can succeed.

I think I've forgotten about the back to back losses to St.Louis. That was supposed to propel them forwards and now we are 8 games above 500 and they are 500.
