Zary out does mess with somethings, but he's not the silver bullet that makes it all better. The lack of quality from Sharangovich and Kuzmenko have been the issue so far and making those lines ugly.
Like it or not, if the Flames are to make even a slight push to the playoffs, those bottom two forward lines need to be enhanced with outside help even with Zary back.
Conroy has 8 games before the break to determine what help is available.
There's only 6 or 7 games after the break before the deadline, too, but if you're going to start making those moves, having players in the lineup before a 2 week break is a better idea.

Maybe as a 4th line. If the 3rd line cannot score they better shut things down or at least keep the majority of the play in the offensive zone. Don't see that here. Happy to be proven wrong though.

Interesting, I’ve thought the Bean-Pachal pairing has been very good for a bottom 6. I didn’t mind Hanley’s time with Weegar so I’m curious how the chemistry with Pachal will look. Either way, Pachal is my favourite 5th D since Zadorov and hope he gets an opportunity at some point to slot in a top 4 role to see what his ceiling is.

This one looks really sharp to me. I'd delete the stripe on the green one if I were them.
But I have to admit I love the alternate captain patch on the ones they'll be wearing tonight.

Love those colors. They must have some arrangement with the Stars? Would like to see the original North Star logo too.

No issue with Kerins sitting, looked pretty blah last game and it's not uncommon at all for rookies to sit for a game after cooling down a bit.
Sharangovich is still one of the big wild cards for this team imo. If he ever got going again offensively it would be huge. Seen glimpses lately, but there's more there to give.

Yeah. Exactly. He's still just a kid, he's getting his cup of coffee and tub of popcorn. Whats the hurry?

FU Maclean. They do a nice intro about Pelletier, then they are headed to a Huberdeau interview. So he says, out of nowhere, “BTW, Edmonton won and is now first in the Pacific”.

Ya my buddy who is a huge Oiler's fan just texted me that.
I replied if the playoffs started today they would face Colorado. He replied "oh"
Oiler fans are so dumb.

I have little doubt that is, in part, trolling. That's why I do as much as I can to avoid HNIC.
