I see Oilers fans crying for a suspension on Garland for "crosschecking" McDavid too. It was a punch/shove. lol

Draisaitl is still out there though, so keep your cup on!

Wait what?

I was promised that he'd tarred and feathered and pilloried in the Town Square!!

We're still doing the whipping though...right? Right? I mean...I sold tickets, I've got liabilities out there...

Hunh. I was kind of expecting that McWhiny MIGHT have gotten a fine. Good to see that he's been suspended.

If the Oilers try any vigilante justice on Garland next game (Thursday)... they should be heavily penalized.

There is no requirement for Garland to fight in his next game with the Oilers. His infraction was at most a 2 minute penalty.

Maybe this will finally end the constant posts about the league helping the Oilers.

Yep. Elbow, sexual assault, donkey punch head into the ice, dive as Garland lightly grabs him, and grand finale crosscheck to the head. And these dumbass media fanboys are crying about Garland doing anything at all.

I hate McDavid and I loathe the Oilers, but I am sorry, if you smoke a guy in mind with your stick?

Even 3 games in my opinion is light.

You're a pro athlete holding a very dangerous weapon. Come on, you've gotta be smarter than that.

Is the punishment a bit light? In my opinion? Yeah. He gets to stay home for a few days.

However that home is in Edmonton and its January so it like being sentenced to Hell for a few weeks.

well if I understand the code as defined by the Oilers and the NHL media correctly- dangerous hits to the head require vigilante justice

so it's McDavid who should be targeted and answer the bell, right?

Why?

He deserved a suspension. They had no choice with the two infractions, they had to suspend both.

McTantrum is suspended for 3 HOME games!
1 is vs VCR! (Could it look like the Jan 20, 2014 VCR-CGY game ?!?!)

1 vs WSH, 1 vs BUF.
