For those clamouring for Wolf to play back to back, it’s worth noting that the majority of his terrible starts (<4.00GAA) and games where he was pulled in his last two AHL seasons came in back to back situations.

Pretty easy to say he should just be able to handle it but the stats maybe show a different story.

That doesn't sound like a 2 week injury to me.

The indefinite nature of the injury classified it as day to day on sites like puckpedia. They automatically guesstimate those injuries as 2 weeks.

He has played 23 of 42 games, and is 23 years old. I don't buy the notion that a professional athlete can't play back to back games as a goaltender, or handle an extremely heavy workload.

Wolf already got you the points you wanted. Thus far I dont feel I have a right to complain about the usage of goaltenders this season.

I dont feel that I can point to something I'd consider an egregious mistake concerning the usage of the goaltenders.

I think we should remember, this is Wolf's first NHL season and I think they're easing him into it quite masterfully.

We need Wolf fresh for a long playoff run.

He might not win the Calder, but he can win the Conn Smythe.
