Wolf was great but Flames gave up nothing in the 2nd and 3rd and won the xGF battle in those periods and won each period 1-0.

Really settled in and played the game they've played most of the season after the really poor first, but Wolf kept them in it since it was only 1-0.

I’m with millen. Flames have a shot at playoffs. Time to give wolf more starts. Enough of the 50/50

Wolf is the real deal. Just awesome tonight.

Kuzy is still trying to do too much with the puck but I thought he was noticeably better tonight and creating chances. Sharky unfortunately looks completely lost out there.

Yes, I’m sure you’d cancel your plans to see the leading AHL scorer play Chicago if he wasn’t wearing a Flames jersey. Lol. He will play 8-14 minutes to get used to the pace. We’ve seen this countless times before.

Unless you’re his mom or dad, then all the best to him. It isn’t going to change the season.

Ah wait, aren’t you an Edmonton fan anyway? Why would you even care?

What a weird tangent.

Of course people on CALGARYpuck, are interested in a CALGARY FLAMES prospect making his NHL debut.

Who is arguing that it's not because he's a Flames prospect? And I don't think anybody has even hinted that he might be a saviour. Shouldn't be shocking that Flames fans just think it's a neat story that a kid has worked hard and is now getting an NHL shot.

Every single fan base in the NHL is more excited about their own prospects making a debut more than they would be about a prospect debuting on another team.

I've been so impressed by Coronato's work ethic and tenacity. We all knew he had an elite shot, but coming in his skating was a pretty serious question and he's dramatically improved that. Plus he's much harder on the puck and while on the forecheck now.

Really great to see.

I guess. I’m “interested to see” Honzek do anything to prove he’s any better than Kerins too.

Senators reached taking Tyler Boucher two picks before Coronato. He has 5 goals in 49 AHL games. Bless that dumpster fire franchise.

It was a blatant interference IMO. Regardless, would they ever possibly have this conversation if it was Edmonton or Toronto?
The issue for me was that it was the centre ice ref who called it. The guy standing right there was going to let it go

Classic NHL officiating.
