Bought tickets last week and planning on driving down to the dome for the first time ever and park on site. Is it fairly straight forward? Go in via south entrance and just park somewhere? I know there are pass lots and whatnot so would rather not get all mixed up. Also should be there by 615ish, reckon there will still be space? Thanks.
Looking forward to this one. I'm not sure how to feel really at this point but will be there showing both the Gaudreaus and Monny that we'll always have their back.
You can park around the surrounding areas, getting stuck in the main lots is a pain in the arse after the game (at least I hate it).
Just follow the hoardes of people in jerseys and you can't get lost.

I drive from out of town to go to Flames games. I park on the grounds in spite of the massive cost to park on grounds. Getting out is easy if you take your time leaving the building. I'll stick around and watch the 3 stars and listen to any in building interview they do, and then I'll maybe hit the washroom and then browse the gift shop before leaving. Once I'm done that the parking lot has been mostly cleared out and it's a breeze to drive out. I have a 2.5hr drive home anyway so what is an extra 15-20 minutes of dragging my heals to get to my vehicle?

Go north on Macleod and turn right into the new entrance on 17 ave sw. Not many people use the new entrance. Turn into parking on the right. It’s a city park plus system.
I think the jersey retirement will happen in the first home game next season. It might happen in the new building but I would think they would want the first game in the new building to be about...the new building.

Yea.. I think they're going to do more than just a Jersey retirement in that new building/arena for Johnny.
With that said its been super tight lipped, I feel like there's more to tonight than we think, but that's purely speculation on my part.

Might be in the minority, but always felt they should have used this as the goal song this season, but at the very least it should be used for every goal tonight……

Thanks for the advice! We have always just trained it there so figured it we were going to drive, may as well get as close as we can. Good to know the mess getting out is the biggest headache. Cheers!
I miss getting a giant bowl of baked tortellini before a game at that old joint called the Pied Pickle. Family tradition that died when the pickle died.

A reminder to viewers in Canada outside of the Flames region, this is a national game on the Sportsnet West channel. The game will not be on Centre Ice.
