As a fan of a hockey, you can't ask for much more than that. Fast paced fun from pretty much start to finish. Just a heck of a fun game to watch!

Not sure, but certainly better than expected. I like watching entertaining hockey though and the Flames continue to deliver on that front.

Don't know if it was mentioned but that was just the Rangers' 2nd loss on the road - one of the better road teams in the NHL

Rangers are a good team with a very good goalie. Flames peppered him bigtime and it was a very entertaining game. You have to enjoy that one.

Three beautiful shots, as others have said. I like how Zary carries the puck as a centre, and Coronato is now a great skater!
Can't remember which hockey show earlier today said it but in their Calder conversation the guy was adamant saying Wolf's save percentage WILL go down when he faces better teams.

Lol, k.

For now.
Can't start tanking now.

They are tied for 10th in the NHL with Florida with a .625 points percentage.

Detroit is in the bottom 10 spot where we keep our pick at a .474.

In order to be below a .475 (78 points) and picking top 10 the Flames could only get 52 points in the remaining 62 games which is a .416 points percentage the rest of the way.

That's very unlikely IMO

Might as well cheer for the playoffs now because picking 11-16 and giving Montreal that pick is worst case scenario and way more likely than a bottom 10 pick right now.

First things first:

If you didn’t see this interview, please watch. A remarkable family I worked closely with earlier in my career.

The power play actually showing some chemistry and movement through the box instead of just passively standing around the outside makes me so happy.

They just keep grinding. Hard working likeable team.

That empty net sequence was hilarious with Huberdeau. Looking for a pass and clanging the post.

Time to shift the strategy? We need a goal scorer. Or start pushing our big $$ forwards harder. They have to start earning their pay cheques.

If any of them wake up with our goaltending and defence we are a pretty good team.

Second things second:

The Flames work ethic and overall effort was second to none. Glad they won because they more than deserved to. Still—they have to work SO hard for their goals compared to teams like the Rags.

Nevertheless: they stuck with it and got the points. Full marks. And a (c)Oiler loss makes things even sweeter!!

We always win against the Rangers at home this early in the season.

Young kids looked good.

Defense looked great, they broke down plays, made smart stick checks, great outlet passes and rolled off pressure.

It’s all going to be up to if our powerplay and Veterans can get going. But hell of it isn’t fun to watch.
