Fabbro and 2025 NSH5th for 2026 CGY6th sounds about the right deal for both teams this year, especially if he is a deadline turn by us or likes here, plays well and signs here. He is technically in the window to be a 32 year old solid 2 way.

I’m surprised there are so many out there who would want to claim him, he’s about as vanilla as one can get.

I think it's his name. Dante Fabbro... just sounds like he should be good. Plus, fab bro also just states again that he's a fabulous bro. What's not to like?

Remember when Gaudreau keep making him flinch pretending the punch him? Johnny was physically intimidating him…

Believe Columbus was 8th in waiver priority after SJ, MTL, CHI, ANA, PHI, SEA, and PIT

That was my first thought when I saw CBJ claimed him. I saw Friedman saying nobody will claim him because of cap hit but I thought, Columbus might claim him because of cap hit.

Puckpedia has them just over $69 million after claiming him. With a floor of $65 million, they were already above the floor.
This puts them ahead of Anaheim for the lowest payroll, and only $250,000 behind the Flames.
