One of the issues is a bunch of my Neighbours turn their lights off. Cheap ####s. That probably turns kids away.

If someone makes the effort to come out, giving them full sized chocolate bars. If they were truly lazy, they would be sitting at home.

I had a kid dressed as Batman trick-or-treat at my office because its month-end and I had to work late.
Sorry for the pack of post-it-notes, a pen and a can of diet coke.
I'm not exactly flush with candy here.

No, that's why Mars gave George W Bush a bunch of money to push the end of Daylight Saving Time back to the first Sunday of November, so kids could go trick or treating when the sun was still up.

Had a fun one yesterday in Australia. Got about 25 kids at our place and they loved that we had a real jack o lantern with lots of selfies taken.
My daughter had a great time trick or treating. Dinosaurs and Wednesday Addams were the most popular costumes. Ended up being a big storm nearby with lots of lightning and the sky turning orange at sunset which added to the spookiness

I’ve had more than a couple older kids just dressed in oilfield PPE. Lazy pricks.

An hour later and no more kids so I guess they did me a favour. I don’t need leftovers.

2 door knocks, 5 kids. 11 full size left to give away. Middle house in a dark street. Might walk out to the sidewalk and start shouting to give them away.

We’re handing out full sized bars. Had a kid receive one, and promptly run back out to the street and yell “FUUUULL SIIIIIIIZE” to his friends.

It picked up after a pretty big gap, up to over 60 now!
Runner up costumes were 4 ninja turtles..
But by far the best were two tween girls dressed up as Wednesday and Enid, they picked well because they naturally looked like the two.

I'm up to about 40 or so here tonight in my little town. Seems a little quieter than usual, although not by a lot.
Lots of little kids with very good manners, love to see it.

Even as a kid I never understood the hype around full size bars. I like variety, so I'll take 4-5 mini bars of different kinds over a single full size every time

Just had a nice late rush of about 20 kids that put a good dent in my candy. Maybe I won't get diabetes this weekend.
