Crap team plays like crap? Must be the coach's fault.

Enough of the ####. Bring kids up to play with guys like Kuzmenko and pump numbers. Stop sending the Klapkas down to keep Rooney and Kirkland up.
Crap team plays like crap? Let's throw kids into the septic tank and make them sink or swim – in an environment where even seasoned pros sink.

Not buying what you're selling here.

Seems like we would be lucky to get them claimed on waivers at this point.

Huberdeau’s 3rd season with us.. I think I’m finally accepting there is no 115 point player in there ever again (heck even a 60 point player).

Sharky looks like a bad 5 year investment. Don’t know why we didn’t hold him for this deadline and flip him.

Expected season, but hoping the pending ufa’s can move up a notch to make the trade deadline at least fun.
You can't trade everyone. If a player really wants to play here, and he is young and a good fit you keep him.

You need some pieces in place and he is coming off an injury. I give Sharky a pass.

A #### team can be a #### team, and that's fine. Caring is the big part. When Calgary started the year they cared. They don't care anymore and this game game 10?

I'm just hoping this loss will convert to Mormon conversations this evening. What a fun interesting game and a moment in history.

Cooley. Lots of Dmen. A few forwards.
I mean, we're already a young team with lots of new players, and we knew we were going to lose games. Not sure I see the same need as you do to make changes and bring guys up.

Cooley? This is the first poor goaltending night. They are still better than expected (or last season) after 10

I would throughout the year. Give them the experience and see what they have.

If we really suck I would be trying to get rid of a few vets (1 or two) around mid season to make room for the younger guys to rotate through.

We’re the 13th oldest team in the league.

I would not consider that as being a “young team”.

Your point stands though. There should be no rush on any front. Play who deserves to play, waive who doesn’t.

It’s hard for guys who miss all or part of training camp. You start way behind everyone else. It’ll take him a bit to catch up.

Same thing with Bahl. But he caught up fairly quickly.

I meant he was one of the guys that should get some games at some point. He is doing really well down on the Wranglers.

I don't mind losing, that was the expectation coming into the season, but gertting blown out two games in a row isn't fun, at least make a game of it.

It would've been nice to get a W for Back's 1000th game, but alas.....

Have some patience for crying out loud. You are not going to enjoy the next few seasons getting this angry over insignificant losses in October. On the majority of nights the Flames will be the lesser talented team on the ice and they are going to lose more games than they win. The payoff will be the opportunity to draft difference makers to which this organization sorely lacks. Lots of games this season aren't going to be enjoyable but rebuilding is never pretty.
