So...this is the third straight season I think now where they play 4 or 5 games where they look decent offensively and play more of a East-West offensive game and generate some chances.

Then they have a break, and come back and just play a very lacklustre offensive game that seems to rely on low to high plays and point shots.

Now I'm not sure if that's just early season hockey where other teams are sloppy early on...or if they are actually changing something when they have a couple days to practice and the coaches reinforce the system they'd rather see.

Well you go get him a winger with motivation issues not sure that’s a recipe for success. You also have a guy learning to play C.

All we need from Huberdeau going forward is a PP specialist and don’t be a liability 5 on 5.

He actually got our hopes up about him in those first 3 games. Foolish i suppose.

That said, he is PPG and our leading goal scorer so will reseerve judgment for now.

The scary part is that Huberdeau is still trying too, he's been the first forward back a couple times tonight...he just has lost all offensive skills and ability to make plays
