Georgiev is brutal. 5.00 GAA and .810 save %. Have to think the Avs will be looking for a goalie here soon.

May we interest you in a Dan Vladar for a 2nd round pick.

Oh I know, it's still bumming me out whenever I think of it. Johnny would want Sean to have fun at least, so I'm loving seeing that, but yeah...

What? That can't be? Don't you know that the refs are always against the poor Oilers, never giving them the PP's they deserve while their players get mauled right, left and center night after night? That the league is against them, determined to make sure that McJesus never sees a cup.

The Oil got a goal. Which is a shame.

Stamkos with a pair of assists. The Predators have tied at 2-2 late in the second period. It is now early in the third period, good game.

I’m of the opinion that Hyman will never score 50 goals again. Mark my words, he’s the next Jonathon Cheechoo. Good player and obviously he can score, but he massively benefitted from a much better player deciding he wanted to go for an assists record and I have a feeling he’s not getting that rub again.

Interesting thought because now that Mavi is back trying to score, Hyman isn’t a passer so Hyman may never touch the puck again!

Hyman is a 3rd liner at best who's had the craziest career luck. He played with Larkin in College which helped him get drafted in a better position. Then he plays with Matthews and Marner before landing on a line with McDavid. The difference between a Hyman and a Kirkland is not much on the skill level. But one player rides the golden horseshoe through life and the other has to toil in the minors for a decade. Sports is such a crapshoot.

Don't forget his super rich family buying minor leagues so they coach would play that plumber up the lineup.

Anyone could tap in those empty netters McMyAnkleHurts sets up.

That seems like a reasonable bet. I don't think I can find evidence of anyone who had their first 50 goal season after age 30 who repeated. Andreychuk was 29 and Esposito was 28 I think for their first one
