Heck of a shot by ZP... that beats an NHL goalie too.

Sure but again too many unknowns. What if Barrie has a good camp and looks like Barrie of old? What if Dan Vladar takes a big step now he is pain free? What if Wolf has a great full season? What if Kuzmenko has a big year? The talent is there We don't know what Miromanov is yet after a full off season and a healthy knee. Jake Bean still has upside. There are many young guys that could take another step at forward. There are just too many unknowns.
Agreed. Anywhere from 32 - 16 is entirely possible. I would have bet a lot of money on the 14-15 team finishing bottom 5 coming into that season, but you never know.

Of course anything is possible, but a tandem of unproven goalies behind D corps with only two proven NHL D men doesn't inspire confidence.

Parekh is the most dedicated individual when it comes to training and development, I think some may be overlooking it.
His skating has always looked effortless because he’s silky smooth, don’t think he needs to change anything in terms of skating style as in fact the Flames drafted him because of these attributes. I can promise you he’s not taking anything lightly, the kid took less than 12 days off all summer and graduated high school at 15 so he could focus on hockey. I think your severly undervaluing his dedication and desire to be in the NHL.
