I think they are all being affected by the same thing, and Solovyov looked better in his stint with the Flames than Kuznetsov did with his, so this all seems about right to me.

Kuznetsov played 1 game....not sure thats much to base anything on, so zero to do with it IMO.
Solovyov is older though so that may be why he got a long look.
As for those Bingo listed that have "passed" him in this thing, im guessing YK plays more NHL games than 4 of them.
Or i am completely wrong and seeing something that isnt there.

I think Ciona will be an established high energy bottom 6 guy by the time we move into the Fireplace.

I voted for YK over Solovyov last year, but somehow- admittedly based on not a lot of hard data, I see Solovyov having passed him in my mind- partly based on circumstances- including Solovyov is out of waiver options and i see that giving him the inside track for a job this year (doesn't mean he'll keep it)
YK - nothing against the player type at all but I've dropped him in my rankings because I think maybe more than anyone the deck chairs are stacked against him- in addition to the prospects we are voting on you have Bahl, Pachal and Miromanov added to the pro ranks in the last year (none are world beaters but some of them also fit his role)- I foresee Solovyov getting a chance at the roster this year, likely Parekh and Grush the next year, then Brz and maybe Poirier the next- the bar is getting crowded- still rooting for him, don't think he's a bad prospect

I would be absolutely shocked if Brzustewicz doesn't play for the Flames until the 2026-2027 season. He put up 92 points last year and won many personal accolades.

Went Lipinski.

The fact that we are on round 18 and I am still engaged in this poll is really positive! Prospect pool is looking as good as it ever has.
