How is it that we even still own Koumontzis's rights? It seems odd that a player that had a full university career, then turned pro by going to the ECHL, is still property of them.
I saw in his draft year, he only had 1 USHL game before going to university. Was it because he was actually considered to be drafted out of high school or prep school, or something like that?

Honzek needs a show me season first. Pelletier has at least shown he can be dominant in the A.

Honzek. Not sure how Pelletier is 2nd here, but he would be behind quite a few guys here in potential for me.

I went Pelletier. He’s scored very well at every level except the NHL at this point and better than prospects on the list. For example, his draft year NHLe was better than Honzek’s or Gridin’s. His D+3/rookie AHL season was much better than Stromgren’s. The only thing he hasn’t done is scored in the NHL. 10 points in 37 games feels meh. However, I think his play 2 seasons ago was quite solid. He just wasn’t scoring. For all these reasons, I think it’s too early to give up on Pelletier. However, assuming Pelletier can stay healthy, this season is show up or shut up.
Once Pelletier is gone, my next pick will be Basha.

Pelletier is my choice. He is for sure NHLer and he will be one of core guys who will be team player with important off ice impact.
