I went Wolf in round 1, so it's Coronato for me.

Yeah this is where the definition and criteria for prospect doesn't always align for me. For me the best prospect after they are developed will be the best player. So the higher ceiling is usually the thing that takes it.

Interesting.
So you don't vote for the best player left, you vote as if your previous round pick is off the board?

Wolf. Then it gets closer.

I kinda feel like I'm not playing with a full deck of cards, but yeah that's where my head is at. I voted for Wolf already, so I don't feel it's right if I vote for him again.
As an example, Parekh is actually off the board, so I won't be able to vote for him which would really skew my personal prospect ranking if I was to go back and compile all of my votes.

The correct answer is Wolf and then Coronato for this round and the next.
Then Brzustewicz.

If you believe the prospect is the best one, then why would you not continue to vote for them. Why would it matter if you already voted for them once?

I'm fascinated to see where Pelletier ends up, after a solid draft and some risers such as Stromgren.

Not going to lie, him being a 2019 pick, the shine is starting to wear off him for me. Yeah, will be interesting to see where the chips fall for him.

Pelletier and Honzek are likely to slip, while Stromgren probably rises. Morin and Brzustewicz are going to be interesting for me. Suniev, Gridin and Misa are total wildcards.
This will be the most interesting vote since it started, what - 12 years ago?

I'd say Stromgren would rise if he had the exact same field to compete against. But with a strong draft and some young players added through trades I think he's in tough to stay at 10th.
And year 12!

I would argue that even staying 10th would be impressive, with all the new additions. But I think he'll climb from there.
Last year he was wedged between Kuznetsov and Solovyov, who are probably landing closer to 20th this year.

Yeah that data becomes more relevant when you have that much year over year voting history.
The surprises from the 20+ ranked prospects.
The busts from guys that went top five.
And the overall changes to depth year over year.

Dustin Wolf for me. His AHL career has been marvelous:
In 141 games played:
97-32-20
.688 Win percentage (not point percentage)
.926 Save Percentage
2.29 GAA
Goalie of the year X2
League MVP
Really impressive stuff.
Compare that to Askarov
92 GP
56-29-15
.608 Win percentage
.911 SVP / 2.55 GAA
Goalie of the year x1
Wallstedt
83 GP
40-34-12
.482 win percentage
.909 SVP / 2.69 GAA
Wild and Predator fans should be excited (well maybe not Predator fans since Askorov looks like he may be moved after the Saros extension) and so should Flames fans.
Even in the NHL under very difficult circumstances (inconsistent NHL appearances and then consistent appearances for a gutted team), Wolf has 8 wins in 16 starts.
I'm a big believer in him and think he'll figure the NHL quicker than it figures him out.

I’d think 3,4 and 5 will be some combo of Coronato, Pelletier and Brzstu. In that order for me anyways.

I don't think Pelletier is in my Top 5. I'd have him below Basha and Honzek and maybe even Stromgren.
