They both shoot right so they aren't going to play together. We'll have them on separate pairings and then one of them will be on the ice for 80+% of the game!

I know it's complete hypothetical when we bring up Makar as a UFA, but in a perfect world where the rebuild is a success and a couple of the Dmen like Parekh/Brzu/Morin/Mews hit, or come close to hitting their ceilings, I wonder if you would even want to sign a 29 year old Makar to an 8 year deal that most assuredly be at or close to league max at the time?
Probably be scrambling just to keep the homegrown core locked up.
Hopefully it becomes a question that needs to be answered when the time comes. Would be a great problem to have to deal with.

Makar is a UFA prior to 27-28 offseason, which is only 3 seasons away. It's unlikely that any of the guys you mentioned are requiring big contracts by then...it's unlikely any are even top pairing dmen by then...in the case of Mews and Morin they might not even be full time NHLers yet.

Parekh casually posting his own hype up video after signing.
His media team is pretty legit by the looks of it.
Its traveling like wildfire in the group chats. Seems like he has a bit of an edge to him like Tkachuk which is entertaining. Love to have 'em, hate to play 'em.

Zayne's doing a better job of pumping up the fan base by himself and his own media team than the organization. You can just tell he's super smart. He's got it plotted out. Now as long as he can back it up on the ice...

In case anyone missed it, there was a Pike bomb today regarding Gridin.
Apparently he hasn't signed a CHL contract yet and Val d'or might trade his rights to another team, probably Rimouski. He suggested that Gridin might be using his AHL eligibility as way to force a trade to a better location. But it is worth mentioning that Gridin said he expect to play in the Q next year.
I can't help but wonder if maybe it's the Flames that want to see him at camp first to decide at that time if he should play in the Q or AHL. Because once he signs a CHL contract, the AHL option will be off the table.
