I’d pay out the nose for a rink feed with increased crowd and ice noise, no commentators, and a high quality condensed game feature.
But hey wtf do I know

The question is, would you pay out the nose six times to six different subscription services to get that? Bearing in mind that you'd have to subscribe to all six for the whole season to get all 82 games.

Does the resolution matter, when they compress the bejeebers out of the signal and sometimes don't even get the audio in sync?

Well yeah that’s why I was asking if it has changed.
Illegal streaming actualy had better quality than the sportsnet whatever app.
On a large screen it looks like a blurry piece of crap.
So I take it no, their is not any 4K options for the Flames.

What likely happened is they didn't count the game in Edmonton on October 13 because it will be an Oilers regional broadcast, so, it doesn't technically count as a Flames broadcast. But, of course, it will still be available in Calgary.

Not sure which thread to post this on… anyone else having really bad lag on their Apple TV when streaming the Sportsnet App? It’s weird… I used my Sportsnet subscription and the Sportsnet App all season last year and it worked fine. But throughout the preseason this year, it’s lagged really bad - to the point it’s unwatchable. No other apps have this problem (TSN App for example). And it’s only on the Apple TV that it struggles. I noticed that the Sportsnet App has a poor rating on the Apple TV (2.5 out of 5 stars) but a decent rating (4.8 out of 5 stars) on my iphone.
Just wondering if it’s just my system that’s struggling or if anyone else is having this problem. With the regular season starting soon, I’ll want to sort this out.

For those of you sick and tired of the complete garbage experience that is Sportsnet+, here is a link to a Change.org petition.

Rogers Sportsnet has been proudly streaming Calgary Flames regional coverage in glorious 780p for years now

I expect the single game tonight is the 'test run'.
Will be VPNing in from here on Mondays to check it out with full slate next week (8 games). As I understand it there will be similar 'channel' similar to NFL Red Zone that will show 'real time' highlights from all the games.
Prime does a fabulous job with Thursday night football. Tons of extra stats available in real time on a portion of the screen, if you want. Same with Friday AppleTV baseball. Really interesting user experience if you like extra, useless stats. I expect the same high production value with Monday night hockey.

I think they were doing 'live' highlights last week. I use Mario's site currently and while even Sportsnet feeds look sharper this season, the Prime feed was probably the best quality stream I've ever watched.
