Bean is an interesting add. Played on 2 teams with strong top 4 defence. Not a lot of minutes in comparison and pretty much no PP time which was his strength with the Hitmen. Could be the D version of Sharangovich

This deal is the Conroy special; bring in an undervalued asset - cheap value contract, in this case - as a reclamation project. Bean seems to have not lived up to his offensive potential. He should get an opportunity on the powerplay here this year assuming Parekh stays in junior. At that contract, it is worth the gamble.
