The Flames should be getting some points from the back end. Especially with guys like Poirier and Morin.

I read on twitter today that Silayev plans to stay in Russia until at least 2026. I feel like that is a risk the Flames didnt want to take with this pick.

Knocks on Parekh is his top end speed (although skating otherwise is good) and he tends to take a lot of offensive risks. But his defensive game is solid. Has hockey sense in spades. Needs to get stronger. Has a wicked shot. The highlights do not lie.
