Who's the GM on McDiver's junior team? May be he'll get the job?

As per tradition, my resume has been sent in. I promise you'll all have jobs in the Oilers organization if and when I am hired.

Sadly, the league as a whole is, and always has been, an old boy's club that is afraid of being progressive and simply recycles itself over and over again. Same ####, different pile as they say. Cruel to say, but until some of these old farts start dying off en masse and more younger blood is forced into these management rolls, it's simply pick from the same litter, rinse and repeat. Pretty much the same thing with head coaches.

Say what we want about Flames' ownership, but it was such a breath of fresh air to see them take a chance with Treliving, then Conroy, at the helm.

Don't really feel one way or another about this. Always though Holland was great pre-cap era, but 100% lucked out by landing a gig with McDavid and Draisaitl on the roster that can drag a club on their own. Maybe he think he can do the same on the Hawks.

He seems great because he has a deep pocket owner, he can out bid any other teams. Once he has to manage a cap, he failed miserably even when he was still with the wings.

I want to be the Lethbridge based amateur scout. You'll pay me $100k per year and and for season tickets to the Hurricanes for all my family. All meetings with me are remote unless I have some weird reason to go to Edmonton. I will also be working my current job full-time too so scouting can't interfere with that.

Guess if the progressive young gm’s won any cups they’d probably be in higher demand.

This has nothing to do with DE&I and everything to do with performance

Maybe the source mistyped CBJ as CBH and Upshall ran with it.

I think the connection was old boys' club vs. DEI.

Bad news.

Only thing better is Treliving and the Laughs already locked him up
