He will channel his inner Mike Cammalleri and we won't know the difference when watching him.
As crazybaconlegs would say he'll be guaranteed the best player , most improved player we've ever seen....i could never be as eloquent as CBL though so I'll stop trying before I hurt myself.
This is a fun little bump. Almost started a new thread, but you know who Coronato reminded me of last night? Carrying the puck into the zone, protecting it well, spinning off the check, going hard to the net, give and go, scoring by pure will? Somebody who also had a good shot.
How was Cammalleri's overall game? Coronato's appears to be strong and improving.
Cammalleri developed a tenacious game, very similar to what we're starting to see from Coronato, but I think it took Cammalleri a long time to get to that point. Cammalleri was also a pretty under-rated playmaker (much like Coronato). But I think the tenacity came later in Cammalleri's career, and Coronato is developing that aspect pretty well, already.
I would say Coronato is further ahead at this point, in the other aspects of the game.

He’s clearly establishing himself as guy who adds real value in a top six role, but if being a 60 point guy on the second line is pessimistic then I’d hate to share my position on unicorns.
What are realistic expectations for Coronato as he progresses into next season? He is still 22.
Is 25 goals and 60 points too out of reach? I think that is closer to his ceiling and he will likely end up being a terrific second line player.
I think you're underselling Coronato's goal-scoring potential. I think his ceiling is more like 40 goals than 25, and I'm seeing the definite probability of a first-line winger in the future. But he needs a centre who can set him up properly to do that, and at present the team hasn't got one.

Agreed. His shot release is elite.
