Okay, so we boo Gaudreau every time he touches the puck, and cheer whenever Kylington touches it right?

If Kylington levels Gaudreau the Universe will grind to a complete halt.
The Globe will stop spinning. Existence will have divided by Zero.

I don't care how he plays tonight, or how much he plays, it will be just great to see him playing with the team again.

Fantastic news!
At first, I thought the timing was a bit odd, considering they have a 9-day break coming up, but it actually makes a lot of sense: ease him into this game and the CHI game, then an extended break to recover and gear up, then go hard when they return.
It sure would be nice (and a nice change for the organization) if everything could go well for him.

A good article from Salim on Kylington’s return.
https://twitter.com/user/status/1750220118355755183
Quote:
”Honestly, I don’t know if I ever would have thought I would see him back where he was at a practice or anything like that,” Conroy said Tuesday.
Conroy and the team’s joy in seeing Kylington back on the ice was palpable. The GM and his teammates were emotional when talking about seeing him in Flames colours again.
“It’s pretty amazing to see his journey and the goods and the bads,” Conroy said. “To walk down there and see him in the [dressing] room laughing and joking around with the guys is very special. It’s hard to even put into words.”
|
Quote:
Kylington mentioned his teammates several times on Monday, saying they’ve played a big role in his progress.
“Everyone’s been a part of my process,” Kylington said. “You feel the love. You’re playing with a lot of guys in this dressing room for a long time, so you build relationships, and you care for each other. You feel that for sure.”
|
Quote:
“Backlund, [Elias] Lindholm, [Rasmus] Andersson, all the guys on our team, even though they weren’t doing stuff with him at the rink…they would invite him to their houses,” Conroy said. “They would be around there for him for moral support away from the rink. Nothing to do with hockey.”
Kylington said those meetups and text messages went a long way during his time away.
“They’ve been a great support system,” he said. “Everyone checking in, texting, calling, and just being there as a friend.”

WOW!
I sure hope to hear the Saddledome crowd blow the roof off when Kylington hits the ice.
I don't get this game, so my expectation is that the ovation will be so enthusiastic that I will get to see it in the highlight package.
GFG.

Is he confirmed? Huska's presser seemed to indicate he's waiting to be officially taken off of LTIR before he's an 'option' to play.

What a stud! To get up to NHL pace that quickly.
Just goes to show what an abundance of speed he already possesses.
I hope he can get back to his prior level this season. What a boost!

Awesome he’s back.
My anxiety riddled brain makes me wonder if we shouldn’t make it a less of a big deal. I would totally be thinking “ah jeez, if I fall back I’m gonna let down another 18,000+ people, I didn’t think of that”. But at the same time it’s awesome and he should hear it.
