I'm almost certain he repays the team by extending given what the media has alluded to about his party's gratitude for the handling of everything.
Hopefully he hasn't lost too much of a step on the ice, but it's a win regardless.

Now that's a good way to start the new year.
I hope Kylington adjusts to the speed of the game rather quickly.
If he plays well I hope the Flames extend him to be a fixture on the 2nd pairing.

Kylington entering the fold also makes it much more comfortable to deal a d-man if he can get up to speed.
