Best forwards? Come on now his point totals would be half without McDavid
I think we all realize that any player playing with McDavid will see a bump in production but he was one of the only guys going for them early in the season when they were slumping and McDavid wasn't producing. I think he would still be having a pretty good season without McDavid and at $5.5 million cap hit it's a pretty solid contract.

Hey White Out, your team has now won 4 straight games against the Bolts. Hellebuck was the key to victory here as he made 30 saves. Namestinkov with 3 assists to haunt his former team. Barron gets 2 points as well. The only blemishes in this game for the Jets were the special teams. The PP was 0/3 and the PK was 1/3. Kucherov and Hedman each had 2 points for the Bolts on their PPGs.
The Jets love playing eastern conf. teams so far this season because they are undefeated against them, 10-0-3. The Jets are soaring right now, 7-0-2 in their past nine games, 11-1-2 in their past 14 games, and that puts them just 1 point back of the Canucks and Avs for 1st place in the western conf. The Jets are also 2 points back of the Bruins for 1st overall!
Dare to dream. My heart skips a beat when I think about the Jets going on a run.

Garrett was contemplating retirement for the past few seasons. The reason there are two colour commentators (Ferraro and Thomlinson) for the Canucks Sportsnet games has to do with Ferraro's contract at TSN. Ferraro is hot garbage, never liked his commentary, and doesn't provide much to the party. Dave Tomlinson must be a bit bummed out from all of this. He's not getting as many games as he probably expected. I wonder if he regrets quitting his Kraken radio job where he did all 82 games.
