Role player in the NHL doesn't work that way, the league is too skilled and fast. You play hard and fast or every one on the NHL team and 5 guys on the AHL team will pass you in seconds.

Sit Huberdeau after two of his best games of the season where he had 3 points and seemed totally rejuvenated? In terms of getting a struggling star player going, sitting him after his best two games would be a coaching blunder of monumental proportions.

If you don't sit him while struggling, how on earth would you justify sitting him while he's feeling it and producing? And what would the end goal be?
