The Canucks are playing well. Their goalie is healthy and their defence is holding enough. They always had talented forwards who could score but they just had a terrible time defending. As they are starting to defend better, their success is increasing. It is early but they have set themselves up for a good competitive season, which they needed if they wanted Petterson to sign long term.
