You have an Oilers Andersson Heritage Classic jersey? That is awkward.

As poor as he has been losing your #1 defenceman is not a blessing in disguise in anyway especially for a big game.

I was one of the 19 but I interpreted the poll to mean a prediction of the result, not necessarily what I thought was justified.

Do they tend to be more harsh for early season suspensions?

For the Flames... remember Lucic got one for a gloved punch of a player that chopped our goalie.

He can do that all he wants in Boston

Coleman got suspended for an Oiler game too

Seems like the expected outcome. NHL can use the Flames as an example cause who all is going to get angry outside of Calgary? Not like its the Leafs, Bruins or Habs. You'd think though that with Edwards being all buddy buddy with Bettman the Flames would get some sort of break.

In the end, this team always feels like a league afterthought unless its bad news.

As a said in the PGT, the hit had all the qualities of an easily suspendable hit. I am upset the Flames will be without their 2nd best defenceman for the heritage classic but man this was just a stupid, selfish, avoidable play by Rasmus.

Good. He left his feet, that's a scumbag move. I don't want a scumbag on this team.

I propose that we just re-activate Kylington and then just put Andersson in his Jersey.

Who would be the wiser??

Did you watch the league video...because they said most of those points were legal. They didn't like the time left and score...Laine thought he would try for a goal though

Even you have to admit four is way more harsh than similar have gotten, especially with a first timer.

NHL is a joke that panders to a handful of teams.
