Guaranteed a spot to start: Kylington, Pelletier, Duehr, Vladar A good chance to be in the lineup: Coronato, Ruzicka Tweeners: Wolf, Jones, Gilbert, Oesterle, Hunt, Zary Dark Horses: Pettersen, Schwindt ...
Burried in the AHL: Rooney

Rooney signing remains puzzling to this day, he was the anti Sutter in almost everyway.
Luckily this is his last year.

Certainly feels like jobs are actually up for grabs this time around. Last season group 1 was the main roster and you knew nobody was cracking that squad.

Lyle is already signed on a two-way, Gourley likewise on an AHL deal.
Aspirot is a professional try-out, whereas kids like Quinn Mantei and Jari Kykkanen would be amateur try-outs.

- It looks like Huberdeau is starting with Lindholm as his center.
- Their wing options to start look like: Sharangovich/ Coronato / Pelletier
- Would be interesting to see who Zary is centering
- Tanev -Kylington seems to be the paring for team Iginla
- I guess that means Hanifin - Andersson, and Weegar - Zadrov will round out the D.
- The middle 6 forwards seem to be Backlund, Kadri, Mangiapane, Coleman, Dube, and Ruzicka to start
- Poirier, and Nikolaev are on team McDonald - a team that looks like it will be cut first
