Non-surgical related. 21 stitches to close a skate blade to the face. Almost lost an eye. Another five stitches to a hand, four to a leg, and three to a finger. Only have one real obvious scar, but it looks like a laugh line now. Used to tell the ladies it was a scar from a knife fight with the Grim Reapers. No one bought that, but it was a hell of an ice breaker!

Not a lot for me, six to eight (can't remember the exact number) on my right ear roughly 25 years ago.

LOL. I was going to post pretty much the same thing. No stitches, just ugly scars.

Lucky number 13.
3 for a cyst removed from my leg when I was 13.
10 to my perineum for a third degree tear after having my daughter. I was a few stitches away from being torn hole to hole. And the fuuuuucking thing took months to heal

I couldn't tell you exactly how many, just what I had them for:

- tonsillectomy
- cracked open my nose
- cracked open my chin

Yeah, I always figure I got lucky with the sections & didn't have to worry about perineal tearing. I think my sections, aside from the 1st, were fairly easy to heal up from. The first one was rough.

Always hats off to those who deal with perineal tears. I bow.

Also not stitches but my whole left cheek was a scar as the doctor ripped all the skin off trying to pull me out of the birth canal with forceps. It faded a bit but you could see it in the summer when I tanned. I had it removed when I was 12 but it just started coming back slightly the last couple of years.

I got 13 stitches in my head while at a Ill Repute show. I managed to catch about 6 songs before my girlfriend said we had to leave (she started to cry). I ended up with a blood stained t-shirt, and it sure looked pretty cool after a wash.

So far, maybe 50 or 60? biggest was a gash on the front of my leg that took 15 stitches inside and 15 external stitches to close.

no broken bones ever, though ~knocks on wood~

No idea. Almost 20 surgeries in my lifetime - I'm like Frankenstein.

The last few years have been brutal for stitches and scars. I had surgery on both my elbows and wrists, probably 30-40 there. Plus two operations on my forehead, the first time was quite small, but then they had to go back in and do Mohs' microsurgery and I had something like 22. The plastic surgeon did a remarkable job of not leaving a scar, though.

6 in my forearm from climbing a chain link fence as a kid, and 6 in my lip from a hockey puck when I was 24.

Say, did you go emerg, and was it a long wait?

Found out my brother gashed his leg last and went to Sheldon Chumir - eight hour wait to get 15 stitches.

Last winter I cut my finger opening a can of baby formula. It required 3 stiches.

When I was like 5 I went sleding.

Hit a rock, flipped, smashed my head off another rock, cut my face wide open. Required 5 stitches in my left eyebrow.

I became a Flames fan shortly there after... I wonder if there's a connection there...

I don't know how many stitches, but:

Left Knee - riding a bike with one hand, pulled the front brake a little too hard, flew over, and somehow banged my knee on something.

Inside of left thigh - Riding an old three wheeler ATV, I wasn't going fast, but I ran myself into a tree that had a cut off fence wire sticking out of it.

Back of my head - Rolling pin rolled off the counter onto me when I was about 2 years old.
