Francis does that with every big name player in Flames history, he tries to chase them out of town. Fleury, Roberts, Iggy, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, it is his schtick. If Huby bounces back to a star forward you can bet your ass Francis will start with him too.

Going to make my list later when I have my more time, but for me anyway, I just always felt like my favourite player couldn't be the best player on the team. It just seemed too obvious/popular.

No likable players might be a stretch, Tanev is likable, Dube likable, Toffoli likable. But not really guys that you need to have on the team, guys that you connect with. I think that is the bigger thing with this team no player that you would be sad if they left, no prospect that is a "can't miss guy" or worth getting excited about.
You look at the players listed here- Iggy, Kipper, Gaudreau, Tkachuk, even Fleury that I can't stand- these are guys that if you/when you lost them the team took a big hit. There isn't a player like that on this team. There isn't a player on this team that if they were traded would be a big deal or big loss.

Never played in CGY therefore I kept cheering for whoever wore #12.
