I agree 100 percent, I held out hope that he would be back this year as we missed him greatly. Now, I am not so sure he will ever be back.

What made me realize how badly we missed him was watching Stetcher play. Stetcher has a similar game, but with less potential than Kylington. Stetcher was a massive breath of fresh air in the lineup. Finally having a defencemen with some offensive instincts was great.

Strange timing. Season's over and in the past week he's finally been active on instagram again, training and reposting stories from fans etc. You waited the whole regular season to say "hey wait a minute what the hell is going on?" lol

Guys have missed full seasons before and come back, and particularly at his relatively young age it's entirely possible for him to come back even if he isn't ready and up to speed for opening night.
What DOES need to happen on Kylington's end is that he needs to let the organization know by draft day whether he will be at camp and playing next season. Whether or not he is going to be counting against the cap, and whether he will be filling a roster spot eventually, makes an enormous difference to how this offseason goes.
