Flames need 4/4 and jets need 3/6? But if jets go 0-3, the flamers could go 1-0-1? Soooooooooooooooo…there’s a chance?

Markstrom was beaten by a very nice play, and he was close on the poke check. Kadri and Huberdeau were not beaten by very nice saves, they just didn't take very nice shots.

It's almost the same...Jets lose 2 Flames win two
It barely changes...only difference is the Jets can't lose in OT

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but the Jets are technically eligible for loser points as well. That one point loss becomes huge if the Jets lose in OT….

By only getting one point, now a Jets loss in OT or shootout is the same as a win for them.
They need two clean regulation losses out of 3 at minimum.

Your sense of hope when it's the most improbable thing that can happen is so annoying. Did this #### with the Gaudreau signing too. After the Chicago loss it was going to be a major battle. One point tonight doesn't cut it.

A point is a point. Hopefully they are better prepared for the last two games.

I actually don't care. They don't deserve to make the playoffs. Kadri is a bum.

Fell asleep during the first period. Based on the highlights, Marky was great? How was Huby and Kadri overall for this pivotal game?

It's incredible that they've won 46% of their games and even Game 81 isn't a mathematical elimination game. It seems pretty likely that we won't even know the fate of the season after the Flames have played their entire schedule. Winnipeg has 1 left after that and Nashville has 2.
Constantly picking off single points pretty much nullifies games.

I feel like I know this organization well enough to feel comfortable in the belief that absolutely nothing will change. They’ll talk about bad luck, being close, and the team coming together in the room. Tre and Sutter are back and the line about the definition of insanity comes to life.

You can't keep having bad first periods and expect to always comeback and win.

Huberdeau cost them a goal, but wasn't bad overall. Kadri was terrible until he scored a goal, and then looked like he woke up.

There was really no excuse for that first period.
Canucks a half step quicker and looked more motivated early. Totally preventable if they brought the intensity of last game.
It was three 60 minute efforts needed. Not asking a whole lot.
What did Sutter say coming into Calgary? If you aren't gassed after shift 1 you're not starting well enough.

Not quite, Jets going 0-1-2 with only one regulation loss would still have them missing out if Flames went 2-0-0.

The first 5 mins of the game looked good. And even the first goal wasn't dangerous chance.
Expected goals for vancy after 1 period is probably not much more than the breakaway
