And of course Edmonton is leading 2-1 against Seattle despite being completely outplayed. Kraaken with 2 posts and the puck hopping over Eberles stick on a wide open net. Grubauer sucks but of course the Oilers get him instead of the far better Martin Jones.

It was. But the good news is that this will be a huge psychological blow to Nashville - this game was their chance to close the gap against the Jets, and they let it slip away.

Nashville and Winnipeg play again in April, and the Flames play both of them in April too, so if the Flames can keep it close until then we will at least have an entertaining last week of the regular season that will be worth watching.

That Nashville / Winnipeg game is just so fitting to how the Flames whole season has gone.
In a game where they just need someone to win in regulation and ideally Nashville, of course it went to ot with Winnipeg winning.
If feels like we have had very little out of town scoreboard help and very poor puckluck(so many posts).
If they make it this year it will be extremely well earned with much adversity overcome.

Didn't both teams literally just lose while the Flames won? Someone one was going to get two points here. Disappointing that three points were handed out but it isn't the end.

Meanwhile the Oilers just keep having all the puck luck in the world. Grubauer sucks!! Seattle outshooting Edmonton 20-11 and trailing 4-2. Halfway through the game and Grubauer has made a whopping 7 saves!!
