Well. Seattle and Wpg are starting to crap the bed. If the Flames can win both their home games coming up and both games against the Wild it could get interesting again.

Not sure if this was mentioned, but K'Andre Miller received a match penalty for spitting on Doughty. Disgusting. I mean, it's Doughty, but still.

It's too close to call with the standings being so close in the western conf. It's crazy that 6 points separates 1st place to 8th place. Any team in a playoff spot can nosedive to being out of it. The Oilers seem right for the picking.

The Predators beat the Coyotes and that makes Nashville just 6 points back of the 8th place Kraken. The Predators are just 2 back of the Flames and have games in hand over a bunch of the top 8 teams except the Avs.

The Predators got behind with the Coyotes SHG, but, took off after that. They were perfect on the PK going 5/5 and 2/3 on the PP. Josi and Duchene each had 3 points in the win.

The Sabres continue to keep in high gear with their 7-4 win over the Capitals. Cozens scores a hat trick and 1 assist in the win. The Sabres were 0/3 on the PP and Kuemper was pulled after 5 goals. The win keeps pace with the Penguins and Islanders.
